Nationwide Express: Common Problems

Accelerator hangs when trying to Authenticate/Authentication timeout
This is usually caused by port 5400, or 7000 being blocked by a firewall. You will either need to disable the firewall, or change the settings to keep these ports open.

Error 303:Network Failure
This is usually caused by port 5400, or 7000 is being blocked by a firewall. You will either need to disable the firewall, or change the settings to keep these ports open.

Some web pages do not load correctly or cause internal errors
Some advanced web pages using Java, Flash, etc. may not work well with Nationwide Express. To work around this issue you will need to add these pages to the proxy exclusion list.

Setup has detected a previous installation ..." Cannot INSTALL
Usually this indicates that the previous version of the accelerator was not uninstalled properly. If the uninstall in "Add/Remove" programs fails, then you may need to call your computer vendor or Microsoft to remove the two "SlipStream" keys in the registry.

Windows Update fails
Nationwide Express can cause an error "Windows Update has encountered an error", when you attempt to download updates for windows. There are two ways you can fix this error. One is to disable Nationwide Express while the updates are being downloaded , or add "windowsupdate.microsoft.com" to the proxy exclusion list.
